UK to Play in SEC Tournament Friday

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - The Kentucky Wildcats finished up the regular season with a win over the Florida Gators on Sunday. Coming up on Friday they will begin SEC Tournament play in Nashville on a neutral court.

By winning the SEC regular season crown for the 44th time this season the Cats wrapped up a first round bye in the upcoming SEC Tournament. Selection Sunday is this coming weekend also, and Kentucky will more than likely be one of the four #1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. This year’s Big Dance should be an interesting one filled with great games and lots of exciting action.

Hopefully for all the UK fans here in Western Kentucky their beloved Cats will reach the Final Four this year for the first time since 1998 when Tubby Smith was their coach. The last two years have been down years by Kentucky standards, but this season they have returned to the top and are poised to make a deep run in March.
