HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Gloria J. Crick, 70, Madisonville Road, died at 9:02 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., of natural causes.
A native of Christian County, she was born Sept. 2, 1939, the daughter of Retta Mae Barnett Naylor, Hopkinsville, and the late William Richard Gilkey. She was a retired cosmetologist and hair dresser and had worked at Art’s Beauty Shop. She was a member of the New Good Hope Church, Nortonville.
Her first husband, Howard Dickinson, died in 1974. A son, Gary Dickinson, also preceded her in death.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, George Crick; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ken (Teri) Falcon Shumake, San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Clyde R. Sharber, Springville, Ala., two granddaughters, two stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lamb Funeral Home with the Rev. Clyde R. Sharber officiating. Burial will be in Judge’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
